Once a flight reward ticket has been issued, name changes are not permitted, and rewards are not transferable after issue even when Sindbad issues them to a third party at the member's request. [4] Unused miles may be re-credited after deduction of the applicable service charges, but miles that expire after the reward was issued are not re-credited and are removed when the refund is processed. [4] If a member does not cancel at least one day before the journey begins, or does not report for the flight, the miles are not re-credited and the reward ticket is not reissued. Exceptions and limits

One-class upgrades, such as Economy to Business Class or Business to Business Studio, are available on Oman Air flights only where the revenue ticket was issued before the upgrade is requested, the request is made at least 24 hours before travel and seats are available. [4] To upgrade an Economy ticket to Business with miles, the ticket must be Economy Comfort booked online or Economy Flex; Super Saver tickets cannot be upgraded with miles.
