Earning the points you will spend
The American Airlines choice carries dates. AAdvantage members can keep taking 500 AAdvantage miles in place of World of Hyatt points on eligible Hyatt stays by giving their AAdvantage number at check-in, even after the wider partnership concludes [5]. World of Hyatt members who linked the two accounts by 15 November 2026 can continue earning AAdvantage awards through Milestone Rewards until 31 December 2026 [5].
