Xiamen Airlines programme

This profile describes Xiamen Airlines’ frequent-traveller programme without using an unverified English brand rendering. The current handbook uses both a spend-based path and a distance-table path, with explicit ticket-stock and carrier scope. This profile separates the balance you can spend from the measures used for elite status.

How flights earn

The 1 October 2026 member handbook uses two earning paths. Eligible Group tickets on stock 731, 836 or 989 use eligible fare plus fuel multiplied by the cabin and tier factor, rounded up. Other tickets, selected codeshares and partners use a TPM distance table; a missing fare does not trigger an automatic switch to the distance table.

Miles or points to spend

The redeemable unit is the programme’s points balance, not miles. The main current flight path is spend-based; the distance path uses kilometres.

Elite status qualification

The current general flight metric is Tier Points. The handbook gives a spend formula, a separate 0.5-point rule for each eligible group connecting segment, and calendar-year thresholds of 20, 40, 70 and 120 points. Qualification runs through the following 31 December; excess points may carry into the next calendar year.

Expiry

Points generally expire on 31 December of the fourth consecutive calendar year after earning. Some member-age and tier exceptions apply. A qualifying points redemption can extend points due to expire that year; balances earned before the end of 2006 remain valid under a separate rule.
