PROGRAMME PROFILE
EVA Air lounges: The Garden, The Infinity and The Star
EVA Air lounges are the airport lounge facilities EVA Air publishes on its own website, which keeps a Lounges page within its At the Airport services alongside worldwide airport information. [6] This profile covers the three lounges known as The Garden, The Infinity and The Star, and the Infinity MileageLands programme whose status rules EVA Air sets out in the open. [5]
Facts checked: 18 October 2026
Key takeaways
- Infinity MileageLands publishes four card tiers, Green, Silver, Gold and Diamond, and the Silver, Gold and Diamond cards are each valid for two years. [5]
- Status miles are credited on EVA Air and UNI Air international flights and on Star Alliance partner flights, yet Star Alliance flight sectors cannot be counted toward a tier upgrade or renewal. [3] [5]
The status behind the door
Infinity MileageLands is organised into four cards: Green, Silver, Gold and Diamond. [5] Green is open to applicants aged two and above, and applicants aged two to twelve need at least one guardian who is already a member. [5] Silver, Gold and Diamond cards each run for two years, while Green is permanent. [5]
Upgrades are measured over a 12-month period inside the current tier. Silver requires 30,000 Status miles and at least four qualifying EVA Air or UNI Air international flights during a valid Green period, or at least 26 such flights; Gold requires 50,000 Status miles or 50 qualifying flights during valid Silver; and Diamond requires 120,000 Status miles or 100 qualifying flights during valid Gold. [5]
Renewal thresholds are higher: Silver needs 40,000 Status miles or 42 qualifying flights, Gold 80,000 miles or 80 flights, and Diamond 200,000 miles or 140 flights. [5] A new card takes effect in the month after the qualifying travel and stays valid for two years, and Status miles earned between qualification and that effective date are kept for two years and count toward the next tier, though not toward Diamond electronic upgrade certificate benefits. [5]
Members who upgrade on mileage carry leftover miles toward the next tier for one year, while members who upgrade on flight sectors cannot carry leftover sectors forward. [5] Flight sectors flown on Star Alliance member airlines cannot be credited toward upgrades or renewals at all. [5]
Status miles are defined as miles accrued on EVA Air and UNI Air international flights and on Star Alliance partner flights. [3] Miles earned remain valid for 36 months from the date of the flight, or from the date a transfer is requested from a partner scheme, and expired miles lapse without further notice. [3] [4]
What the sources establish about admission
EVA Air's website groups a Lounges page with its airport information under At the Airport, next to Worldwide Airports, so the operating details of its lounge product sit outside the loyalty programme pages. [6] The programme terms add one rule that matters at the door: members must show their membership card when using services and benefits, and where the card cannot be produced or the member's identity cannot be confirmed, EVA Air may stop providing the service. [4]
Where a benefit reaches a passenger through a partner rather than through EVA Air directly, the terms say that partner products, services and benefits are governed by the partner's own rules, which members are told to read before accepting them. [4]
Details not published
- Which airport and terminal each of the three lounges occupies, and when each one opens and closes. [6]
- Which cabin or card tier admits a passenger to The Garden, The Infinity and The Star respectively, and whether one lounge is offered when another is unavailable. [5]
- Whether a travelling companion may enter as a guest, and how many guests are allowed. [4]
- Whether Star Alliance Gold status held in another member airline's programme carries any access to these lounges. [4]
Scope, exceptions and limits
- The material checked comes from two EVA Air markets: pages for the Taiwan Region of China in traditional Chinese that carry the mileage accrual, joining and membership rules, and global English pages that carry upgrade and renewal requirements and the site's airport navigation. [3] [4] [5] [6]
- The joining terms state that where local law or regulation makes part of the programme unlawful or unenforceable, those parts no longer apply. [4]
- EVA Air keeps the final interpretation of its rules and the right to correct, cancel or reclaim miles, certificates or benefits that do not match what the member was entitled to. [4]
- Miles earned may be credited to only one programme, and once credited cannot be moved to another airline's scheme. [4]
- Membership ends automatically on death, and when membership ends the account is not retained and accrued miles and electronic upgrade certificates lapse. [4]
