How flights earn

Miles depend on carrier, route distance, cabin and booking-class rate. Partners have separate tables; elite bonus miles do not automatically count as tier credit.

Elite status qualification

Tier Miles and eligible segments use a rolling 12-month period and include SriLankan flight requirements. Bonus miles are not a substitute for qualifying tier credit.

Expiry

Ordinary miles generally expire after three years in batches in March and September. Purchased and reinstated miles can have separate terms.
