How to buy Radisson Rewards points

Radisson Rewards is the loyalty programme of Radisson Hotel Group for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Brazil, and points held in a Radisson Rewards account are spent and lost under one set of programme terms effective 6 October 2026: they can cover a Points-Only Rate in full or part-pay an amount as Pay with points, and Radisson may forfeit any or all of them after 24 continuous months without qualifying points activity. [3]

Key takeaways

  • Radisson Rewards points are spent through a Points-Only Rate, where the room-rate component is paid entirely in points, or through Pay with points, where part or all of an amount is paid in points. [3]
  • Points work at Participating Properties, which include Radisson Hotel Group brands such as Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Park Plaza and Prize by Radisson, while hotels in Russia do not take part. [3]
  • Radisson may forfeit, void or cancel any or all points when an account has no qualifying points activity for 24 continuous months. [3]
  • Moving points to another account, whether it belongs to the same member or a different one, does not count as qualifying points activity. [3]

What can you pay for with Radisson Rewards points?

The programme terms name two redemption methods. A Points-Only Rate is a room rate available only by redeeming points, where the room-rate component is payable entirely in points and no monetary payment is needed for that rate, subject to the programme terms and to any extra conditions or restrictions communicated at the time of booking. [3] Pay with points is a method under which a member pays a portion or the full amount of a charge with points. [3]

A night paid for with points is an Award Night, and an Award Night is subject to both the programme terms and the terms of the participating property where it is booked. [3] Points are earned and redeemed at Participating Properties and with Partners. [3]

Balances can also grow from stays: a member may earn points for up to three rooms booked during the same eligible stay, provided the member is the registered guest in one of those rooms. [3]

Where can Radisson Rewards points be used?

A Participating Property is a hotel operating under a participating Radisson Hotel Group brand, including Radisson Individuals, Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson and Prize by Radisson, plus any brand Radisson adds later and the Louvre Hotels Group (LHG) hotels taking part under the strategic alliance between the two groups. [3] Hotels located in Russia do not participate in Radisson Rewards. [3]

Louvre Hotels Group properties join on a published timetable, and benefits and redemption options may become available across them progressively, varying by property, market, brand, operational readiness and technical implementation. [3]

Because the property list and the benefits at each property can differ from one hotel to another, the same balance may unlock different options at two hotels within the same brand. [3]

When can Radisson Rewards points be forfeited?

If a Radisson Rewards account has no qualifying points activity for any continuous period of 24 months, Radisson may, at any time and in its sole discretion, forfeit, void or cancel any or all of the points without notice or liability to the member. [3]

Transfers of points to another account, including transfers between accounts owned by the same member or by different members, are expressly excluded from qualifying points activity and do not extend, renew or otherwise affect the expiry period. [3] Radisson may send reminders about upcoming expiry as a courtesy, but it is not obliged to do so, and a reminder that is not sent or not read does not change whether points expire. [3]

If a membership is terminated for any reason, the account is closed and all points in it are cancelled, forfeited and no longer available for redemption. [3]

Which account rules affect a points balance?

  • An individual may hold only one Radisson Rewards membership and may not earn points on more than one account. [3]
  • Accounts and benefits are personal to the named holder and cannot be sold, loaned or transferred. [3]
  • A change to member profile details freezes the account for up to 24 hours, during which no redemption can be made. [3]
  • Radisson may at any time amend, modify or supplement the programme benefits or the programme terms. [3]

Exceptions and limits

  • Footprint. The programme covers Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Brazil, and hotels in Russia are outside it entirely. [3]
  • Staggered rollout. Louvre Hotels Group brands join on different dates between 6 October 2026 and 12 January 2027, and their participation can vary by property, market and technical readiness. [3]
  • Discretion, not a fixed deadline. The 24-month rule is written as a discretion: Radisson may forfeit, void or cancel points at any time and without notice or liability. [3]
  • Property terms on top. An Award Night is bound by the participating property's own terms as well as the programme terms. [3]
  • Changing terms. Radisson may terminate, amend, modify or supplement programme benefits or terms, so a balance should be checked against the terms in force at the time of redemption. [3]

Frequently asked questions

Do Radisson Rewards points expire?

They can. If an account has no qualifying points activity for 24 continuous months, Radisson may forfeit, void or cancel any or all of the points at any time and without notice or liability. [3]

Does transferring points keep an account active?

No. Transfers between accounts, including between accounts owned by the same member, do not constitute qualifying points activity. [3]

Can points cover only part of a hotel bill?

Yes. Pay with points lets a member pay a portion or the full amount with points, while a Points-Only Rate covers the room-rate component entirely in points with no monetary payment for the rate. [3]

Are points usable at every Radisson Hotel Group hotel?

At Participating Properties. Hotels in Russia do not participate, and Louvre Hotels Group brands enter the programme on staggered dates from 6 October 2026 to 12 January 2027. [3]
