Norwegian Cruise Line Latitudes Rewards: a practical guide
Latitudes Rewards mainly tracks completed cruise nights. Check fare eligibility and the cabin category before relying on bonus points, and claim missing credit within the programme's current window.
How members earn points
NCL's current FAQ says Latitudes members earn points for completed cruise nights. Certain full-fare suite or The Haven bookings, and selected Latitudes Rewards Insider Offers, may earn an additional point per night. The FAQ excludes Club Balcony from the full-fare suite bonus described there.
Some bookings do not qualify
NCL lists reduced-fare and complimentary cruises among the bookings that may not earn points, including certain travel-industry and employee rates. Sailings on sister brands Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises do not earn Latitudes points. Check the exact fare and current FAQ before booking.
Check points after the sailing
NCL says points post after a cruise is completed, and the FAQ describes a limited period for requesting missing credit. Keep the reservation number, member details and sailing record, then contact NCL promptly if the expected points do not appear.
Before you book
- Verify the member number and passenger name in the reservation.
- Ask whether the quoted fare is eligible, especially for special or discounted bookings.
- Confirm the specific cabin category if you expect suite bonus points.
- Review the current tier table and missing-points period in the official FAQ.
