Start here: Caesars Rewards — join, earn Tier Credits and Reward Credits, redeem them and keep them active

Caesars Rewards is the loyalty programme governed by the Caesars Rewards Rules & Regulations, in which members accumulate Tier Credits and Reward Credits — together called “Credits” — through tracked play and qualified hospitality spend at participating properties [1]. Membership is free and requires the member to be 21 years of age or older to enrol, with valid, government-issued photo identification as proof of age to obtain a card and to redeem Reward Credits [1].

Facts checked: 19 October 2026

Key takeaways

  • Tier Credits and Reward Credits — together “Credits” — accumulate through play tracked on the member's card and through qualified hospitality spend at participating properties [1].
  • Reward Credits stay valid as long as the member obtains at least one Reward Credit every six months; if none is obtained within any six-month period, the entire Reward Credit account balance expires [1].
  • The rules do not print tier names, tier thresholds or tier benefits; they point members to a participating property's Caesars Rewards Center and the Caesars Rewards website for the rules, terms, conditions and limitations that apply [1].

What you will be able to do after this course

  • Explain what Caesars Rewards is, what Tier Credits and Reward Credits each do for you, and who the programme suits.
  • Join with the identification the rules require and keep your online account access information secure.
  • Make sure your play and your hospitality spend are tracked, and redeem Reward Credits at a participating property.
  • Keep a Reward Credit balance from expiring, and find the local rules that apply at the property you are visiting.

Step 1: What Caesars Rewards is and who it suits

You will learn: what Caesars Rewards is, what agreeing to the rules commits you to, and who the programme suits.

By participating in Caesars Rewards, participants agree to be bound by the rules and regulations [1]. The benefits are intended and solely for the use of the person listed on the account, and a member may not allow any other person to use the card or access the account [1]. Cards are non-transferable, are the property of Caesars Enterprise Services, LLC and must be returned immediately on request, and Caesars is not responsible for lost or stolen cards, including any resulting misuse [1]. A member may accumulate Tier Credits and accumulate or redeem Reward Credits at any participating property, with the list of participating properties available at the Caesars Rewards Center [1]. The rules, terms, conditions and limitations for accumulating and redeeming Credits may vary by participating property and are subject to change at any time in Caesars' sole discretion [1].

Accumulations are subject to review and verification by management, and management may adjust account status because of computer error, machine malfunction, operator error, fraud or other misuse of the card [1]. Members agree to Caesars' unconditional use of their name and likeness for promotions, advertising and announcements without compensation, consideration, notice, review or further consent [1], and all decisions about interpretation of the rules, eligibility and Credit accumulation lie solely with management, whose decisions are final [1]. Caesars may modify or cancel the programme at any time, for any reason, subject to any applicable regulatory approval [1]. Communications with Caesars may be monitored for quality assurance purposes [1], additional rules and information may be available on request at the Caesars Rewards Center [1], and a provision that is invalid or unenforceable is void only in the specific jurisdiction at issue while the other provisions remain in force [1]. Member personal information is collected and used in accordance with the rules and the Caesars privacy policy [1], and claims and disputes must be filed in the named federal or state courts in Nevada or Delaware, with the laws of Nevada governing [1].

Who it suits: adults who already visit participating Caesars properties, because Credits come from tracked play and from qualified hospitality spend at those properties, and any additional Reward Credits available through Caesars' strategic relationships with other companies are described at the Caesars Rewards Center [1].

The rules also print a notice directly beneath them: “Must be 21 or older to gamble at casinos and sportsbooks, 19 or older at Caesars Windsor in Ontario, Canada. Must be 21 to become a Caesars Rewards member.” [1] The notice also prints responsible-gambling helplines that differ by state: for the states it lists first (CA, CO, DC, IL, KY, MD, MI, MO, MS, NV, NJ, OH, TN, VA, WV, WY, KS, LA, ME, NC and PA, some with a named property) it prints “If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) or texting 800GAM (800426)”, and it prints separate lines for other states and for Ontario, including “GAMBLING PROBLEM? CALL 1-800-GAMBLER” followed by separate MA and NY lines [1].

Step 2: How to join

You will learn: what joining costs, what identification the rules require, and what can end a membership.

Membership in the programme is free [1]. A member must be 21 years of age or older to enrol and must present valid, government-issued photo identification as proof of age in order to obtain a Caesars Rewards card and to redeem Reward Credits; identification that is deemed acceptable is in the sole discretion of management and may vary by location [1].

Each member selects a username and password for the online Caesars Rewards account and must keep that information, along with their security questions and answers, confidential and secure; the member is responsible for any activity and resulting damages due to their own negligence or fault in protecting account access information [1]. Caesars may deny anyone's application for membership or terminate anyone's membership at any time in its sole discretion without recourse [1], and it may terminate or suspend membership benefits for members who have been issued credit and are in default on repayment, who have had a check cashed and returned for non-payment, or who are otherwise delinquent on payments or indebtedness owed to Caesars, with the decision whether to reinstate benefits and Reward Credits at Caesars' sole discretion [1]. Individuals who are excluded from casino, racino and off track betting (OTB) facilities and online gambling products — through a government program, their own request, at the sole discretion of Caesars, or through any other means — are not eligible to participate in the programme [1].

Step 3: How earning works

You will learn: how play and hospitality spend are tracked, which spend earns Credits and which does not.

A Caesars Rewards card may be used to track play and accumulate Tier Credits and Reward Credits by the account holding member only [1]. It is the member's responsibility to make sure the card is inserted properly in the machine when playing slots, and to make sure a supervisor is aware of play when playing table games, keno, race and sports betting or other games [1]. For table games, keno, race and sports betting and other non-slot games, Credits are granted on the personal observation of Caesars employees, which is subject to error, and Caesars' determination is final with respect to any discrepancies [1]. No Credits are earned on free slot play coupons, free table play vouchers, promotional chips or free play downloaded to slot machines [1].

A member may also receive Credits for qualified hospitality spend at participating outlets at participating properties, which include participating hotels, spas, food and beverage outlets, bars, nightclubs and retail shops, with a complete list of qualified outlets at the Caesars Rewards Center [1]. Credits are not awarded for tax, service charges, tips or comps, and tips added to large dining parties are considered a service charge [1]. The member must give the card to the hospitality outlet cashier before settling a purchase in order to receive Credits [1], and Credits awarded on hospitality spend are not used to determine eligibility for entries or prizes for promotions, tournaments or any other drawings, sweepstakes or contests [1].

The rules also print: “Credits will be awarded for whole dollars only. Any remaining cents will be truncated to the tenth, and will then count towards the Member's next Credit.” [1] The rule does not explain how truncated cents are carried over to the next Credit [1]. If a member purchases and subsequently returns merchandise, Caesars may deduct the Credits awarded for that purchase [1], and strategic relationships with other companies may result in the member accumulating additional Reward Credits, with details at the Caesars Rewards Center [1]. Balances are non-transferable, including upon death or divorce [1].

Go deeper: Hotel points versus cash, for how a hospitality-based currency compares with paying in cash.

Step 4: How to redeem Reward Credits

You will learn: where Reward Credits can be redeemed, what identification is required and which rules govern a redemption.

A member may accumulate and redeem Reward Credits at any participating property [1], and valid, government-issued photo identification must be presented in order to redeem Reward Credits [1]. The rules, terms, conditions and limitations for redeeming Credits may vary by participating property and are subject to change at any time in Caesars' sole discretion, so the rules point members to the property's Caesars Rewards Center and the Caesars Rewards website [1]. All Reward Credit redemptions are final unless otherwise allowed at the sole discretion of management, and Reward Credits have no cash value [1].

The rules do not print redemption values or a list of reward options; they state that the rules, terms, conditions and limitations for accumulating and redeeming Credits may vary by property and direct members to the Caesars Rewards Center and the Caesars Rewards website to learn more [1].

Go deeper: the points value calculator, for working through what a points redemption is worth to you.

Step 5: Tier Credits, tier status and keeping Reward Credits

You will learn: what Tier Credits are for, what the rules print about tiers, and how a Reward Credit balance is kept alive.

Tier Credits are accumulated through play tracked on the member's card and through qualified hospitality spend, alongside Reward Credits [1]. The rules do not print tier names, tier thresholds or tier benefits; for those, they direct members to a participating property's Caesars Rewards Center and the Caesars Rewards website [1].

Reward Credits are valid as long as the member obtains at least one Reward Credit every six months; if the member does not obtain any Reward Credits within any six-month period, the entire Reward Credit account balance expires [1]. If a member fails to comply with the programme or the rules of participating properties in any manner — including misuse of the card, fraud, misrepresentation, improper conduct, violation of laws, or being or becoming excluded from gaming at a participating property — Caesars may terminate the membership and, in lieu of termination, may at its sole discretion deduct Reward Credits and/or demote account status while permitting the individual to remain a member [1]. In the event of termination for any reason, the member's Reward Credits expire immediately, with no obligation on Caesars to award compensation and no other recourse [1].

Step 6: Your first concrete action

You will learn: the first practical steps to take with a new Caesars Rewards card.

  1. Join only if you are 21 or older, and bring valid, government-issued photo identification to obtain the card; the rules that govern membership are published at caesars.com/myrewards/rules [1].
  2. At slots, insert your card properly in the machine; at table games, keno, race and sports betting, make sure a supervisor is aware of your play, because non-slot Credits rest on employee observation [1].
  3. Hand your card to the cashier before settling a purchase at participating hotels, spas, food and beverage outlets, bars, nightclubs and retail shops [1].
  4. Obtain at least one Reward Credit every six months, or the entire Reward Credit balance expires [1].
  5. Before you redeem, check the Caesars Rewards Center at the property you are visiting, because the rules, terms, conditions and limitations may vary by property [1].
