Key takeaways

- Awards are subject to restrictions on transfer.
What is a World of Hyatt Club Access Award?
World of Hyatt is Hyatt's customer-loyalty programme, through which members can earn points and qualify for benefits and awards. A club-lounge access award is one of the programme's awards.
Membership is open to eligible individuals, and there are limits on membership and account sharing. A membership number is for the member's own use.
How do you use a Club Access Award?
Awards are redeemed through the member's own account on the programme website.
An award is not the member's property. Points, awards, membership benefits and accounts cannot be transferred except where the terms allow, and they are not redeemable for cash. Points, awards and other membership benefits may be subject to taxes, which are the member's responsibility.
Hyatt's decisions about points, awards and benefits are final and binding.
Where can a Club Access Award be used?
Not every hotel or resort affiliated with Hyatt participates in the programme, and some properties do not participate at all. Members who are unsure whether a particular hotel or resort participates should contact Hyatt before making a reservation.
Some properties and experiences take part only in a limited capacity, and particular awards, benefits or opportunities may not be available there. The additional terms for each property or experience set out which parts of the programme apply.
Excluded properties. Some properties are treated separately for programme purposes, and programme awards and in-hotel benefits may not be available there.
Exceptions and limits
- Hyatt can change the award. Hyatt may change, withdraw, limit or cancel awards and benefits, alter award requirements, and restrict award availability.
- Benefits can be refused at check-in. Hyatt may deny World of Hyatt benefits at check-in in certain circumstances.
- Losing the account loses the award. If a membership is terminated, the member loses the points, awards and benefits associated with the account. Points forfeited after a period of account inactivity are not reinstated.
- Programme-level risk. Hyatt may terminate the programme, and points or awards in an account may be forfeited on termination.
- Terms change. Hyatt may modify the programme terms, and updated terms apply from their effective date.
