Miles+Bonus

Miles+Bonus distinguishes Award Miles from Tier Miles and applies separate rules to status, family accounts and partner activity. Current tiers and the announced future transition have different effective dates. This profile separates the balance you can spend from the measures used for elite status.

  1. Before a flight, check the marketing carrier, operating carrier, fare and booking class.
  2. Keep the redeemable balance separate from the status measure listed below.
  3. Before booking, check award availability, fees and change conditions in the programme’s current search.

Miles or points to spend

Award Miles are used for rewards. Tier Miles, family-account balances and fixed bonuses are separate measures and should not be added as if they were one balance.

Elite status qualification

Tier Miles have a 12-month validity period. The current tiers are Blue, Silver and Gold; the official notice sets a different effective-date clock for announced future changes. The future Platinum tier is not treated here as already available.

Expiry

Award Miles do not expire through ordinary inactivity under the cited terms, but account closure or rule violations can affect the balance. Tier Miles have a separate 12-month validity period.

Fare classes that do not earn

The official earning tables identify booking classes that do not earn. Apply those exclusions only to the ticketed fare class and table in scope; an upgrade inventory code or an unlisted letter is not automatically equivalent.

What this profile does not establish

The checked source set does not establish these details: How flights earn. Use the current official programme terms for that rule; do not infer it from another airline.
