What United lists for this card

On United's MileagePlus card-benefits site, the United Club card is presented among the personal cards with the line "United Club access (a $750 value)" and benefits with over $875 in annual value. [3] The $750 figure on that page describes the value United attaches to the club access; it is not described there as the card's annual fee. [3]

The same site lists three further United cards with United Club access: the United Club Business card, the United Presidential Plus card and the United Presidential Plus Business card. [3] The two Presidential Plus cards are the only ones in that list that also name IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status as a card benefit. [3]

Chase hosts the United card pages and separates personal from business cards, and it points United cardmembers to cardmember events, private dining events and cardmember offers. [2] The card-benefits site carries a JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. member FDIC notice at the foot of the page. [3]

Earning Premier points from card spend

MileagePlus members who are also primary United Chase cardmembers earn Premier qualifying points (PQP) on purchases made with an eligible United credit card. [7] Each card has its own PQP limit for the calendar year, and the United Club card is listed with a cap of up to 28,000 PQP. [7]

The earning rate on that page is stated by card name: 1 PQP per $15 spent on the United Club Infinite and United Club Business cards, and 1 PQP per $20 on all other PQP-eligible cards. [7] The page's personal-card list, by contrast, shows the card as the United Club card with the 28,000 PQP cap. [7]

PQP earned from an eligible United card can be applied toward Premier tiers up to and including Premier 1K, and can also be used to meet the PQP-only requirement for Premier 1K. [7] Card spend does not remove the flying requirement: members must take at least four flights operated by United or United Express in a calendar year to qualify for any Premier status. [7] PQP earned on eligible credit card spend is awarded within six weeks of meeting the spend qualifications. [7]

Club access, membership or another card

Within United's own lineup, club access is not unique to this card: the United Club Business card and both Presidential Plus cards list it as well, and the Presidential Plus cards add hotel elite status. [3] United's card site does not, on the pages used for this profile, set out the guest allowance, the airport or same-day travel conditions attached to club access, or how the cards differ in club-entry rules. [3]

Buying United Club membership directly and holding a non-United premium travel card are both outside what these sources describe for this card, so no comparison of price or entry rules can be made here. Exceptions and limits

• Terms change and sit with the issuer. United's card site states that miles, awards and benefits issued are subject to change and to the rules of the MileagePlus programme, and that United may change the programme, including rules, benefits and special offers, at any time and without notice. [3]
• No vested rights. MileagePlus rules state that accumulated mileage, status and other benefits do not entitle members to vested rights, and that United may withdraw, limit, modify or cancel awards and benefits. [5]
• Issuer responsibility. United's Premier page states that Chase is not responsible for the provision of, or failure to provide, the 2026 MileagePlus programme-year stated benefits and services, and that Chase documents, web pages and tools are available only in English. [7]
• Account number must stay on the booking. MileagePlus rules require members receiving programme benefits, with lounge access named among them, to keep their MileagePlus account number on the reservation and any reservation created from it for the whole of the associated travel; a companion who obtained benefits through a member's status loses them if that member stops travelling on the original reservation. [5]
• The annual fee, the number of guests a cardholder may bring into a club, authorised-user rules and the treatment of access at partner-operated or Star Alliance lounges are not stated on the United and Chase pages used here, so this profile does not assert them. [2] [3]
