Juneyao Air Club (Ruyi Club): Points, Tiers and Redemption

Joining and what it includes

Membership of the club is free. [3] The airline lists four entry benefits: real-name verification tied to travel with Juneyao Air, the accrual and use of points earned on flights and in activities, elite tier upgrade through accumulating more qualifying segments, and a member price when tickets are bought in the Juneyao Air app. [3] All four are tagged as available to real-name verified users rather than to every registered account. The airline also offers a points payment password, which it describes as confirming the member's identity and protecting account information and the points balance; it can be set through the official website or the official app. [3] The website separates the membership area into an introduction to the club, the elite tier system, star-level benefits, and separate earning and redemption guides. Earning points

Juneyao Air lists four routes to points: flying Juneyao Air, flying partner airlines, using a Juneyao Air co-branded credit card, and buying through the programme's other, non-airline partners. [3] The homepage mirrors this structure in a dedicated points-earning guide, with separate entries for the airline's own flights, partner flights, co-branded cards and cross-industry partners. [1]

Points can also be collected through campaigns and activities. The airline states that points obtained this way carry the validity set out in the individual campaign's rules, rather than the standard account window. [3]

Point value, validity and redemption

The programme gives its points a stated redemption value rather than a floating one: 1 point offsets a set amount of cash value, and at settlement 8 points offset a set amount. [3] Points are valid for 24 months from the date they are credited to the member's account, and points still unused when that period ends are automatically cleared to zero. [3] Points earned through marketing activities are the stated exception, since their validity follows the activity's terms. [3]

Redemption runs through the airline's own channels. Points can be spent on a range of purchases in official channels, including offsetting ticket fares and buying some ancillary products [3], and in the Ruyi shopping mall [3]. Partner award tickets are handled differently: members call the 95520 service line from the phone number bound to their membership card and use points for a full redemption of a partner airline award ticket. [3] The redemption guide on the website is split into Juneyao Air products, partner award tickets and the lifestyle e-commerce platform. [1]

Elite tiers and star levels

The club carries two status layers, presented on separate pages. The elite tier system is climbed by accumulating qualifying segments, which unlock the corresponding tier benefits. [3] Star levels work on a different principle: the airline describes them as an activity-based reward mechanism, where a member who moves up a star level receives rewards in return. [3]

Exceptions and limits

• Campaign points. The 24-month validity is the account default, not a rule for every point: points issued through a marketing activity expire under that activity's terms. [3]
• Expired points. Unused points are cleared to zero when their validity ends. [3]
• Verification gate. The listed member benefits apply to real-name verified users, and the optional points payment password is set on the website or in the official app. [3]
• Partner flying sits outside this page. Juneyao Air joined Star Alliance as a connecting partner [4], and earning or spending through another carrier's programme follows that programme's terms — United, for example, states that MileagePlus members earn award miles and Premier qualifying credits on eligible Juneyao Air flights under MileagePlus rules.
