How to join Azul Fidelidade: eligibility and enrollment

Azul Fidelidade — the name Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras uses, from 2024, for its loyalty program, which its regulations also call the Programa de Fidelidade da Azul — is free to join for individuals over two years of age, who can register through the VoeAzul website, the Azul app, the Azul service center or other official Azul channels. [4] Enrollment means accepting the program regulations and supplying identification and contact details, with a separate data set for foreign residents. [4]

Key takeaways

  • Joining is free for individuals over two years of age, and Azul lists four registration channels: the VoeAzul website, the Azul app, the Azul service center and other official channels it provides. [4]
  • Registering means expressly accepting the regulations, and Azul collects a different set of personal data from Brazil-based and foreign participants. [4]
  • Only one account per person is allowed; Azul may cancel duplicates and move their content to the oldest account in that person's name. [4]
  • The membership number earns only when it is attached to a booking, and points for a flight can be requested up to 365 days after it is flown. [1] [2]

Who can join Azul Fidelidade, and does it cost anything?

The regulations open the program to individuals over two years of age who hold an account during the program's term, and describe participation as free of charge. [4] A participant is defined as an individual registered in the program who uses Azul's services and products. [4]

Younger members can join, but the signature rules change with age: registrants over 16 and under 18, and those under 16, must read and accept the regulations assisted or represented by their legal representatives, and those representatives must hold their own CPF. [4]

Joining itself is free: the regulations state that individuals may participate free of charge and route enrollment through Azul's official channels. [4] Only one registration per participant is allowed, and Azul may cancel or delete any account identified as a duplicate, moving its content to the participant's main account — for this purpose the oldest Azul account in that person's name. [4]

How do you enroll in Azul Fidelidade?

Registration runs through the VoeAzul website, the Azul app, the Azul service center or other official channels Azul provides. [4] Registering and expressly accepting the regulations confirms voluntary adhesion to the program and agreement with all of its terms, which Azul may amend, modify or update from time to time. [4]

For a standard registration, the data requested includes full name, CPF, date of birth, gender, full residential address, nationality, email and telephone with country and area codes, entered on the form provided on Azul's official channels. [4] Azul may contact the participant to ask for proof, updating or regularization of the data and documents given at registration. [4]

Foreign residents register with a different set of details: full name, gender, a national identification document such as a passport, country of residence, ZIP code, full address, email and telephone with country and area codes. [4] Azul may also request further supporting documents in order to complete that registration. [4]

Enrollment bundles in a communications authorization: the participant agrees that Azul may send printed, electronic (marketing email or push notification), telephone (SMS or telemarketing) or other-channel communications, and can revoke that authorization at any time through Azul's channels. [4]

What should you do once your account is open?

A new membership number earns only when it is attached to a booking. Under the benefits rules in force from 13 January 2026, points are credited within 72 hours of a flight to customers who gave their Azul Fidelidade number when buying the reservation or at check-in, and the credit is individual for each passenger regardless of who paid. [2]

The program regulations let a member request points for Azul tickets from the time of purchase up to 365 days after an Azul-operated flight, through channels such as the purchase flow, check-in or the Minhas Viagens area. [1] Where the number was missing, or the credit never appeared, a retroactive request can be filed within 365 days of the flight with the trip details Azul requires. [1] Points land individually and non-transferably in the account of the participant who took the flight, within 72 hours of the flight or of the retroactive request. [1]

At check-in for Azul flights, and at partner establishments enrolled in the program, the member must show the Azul account number so the points can be recorded. [4] Award tickets, for their part, can be issued only while the Azul account is regular and active; the booking steps are set out in how to book Azul Fidelidade awards. [4]

Exceptions and limits

  • Canceling wipes the balance. A member may cancel participation at any time without giving a reason; on cancellation the balance of Azul points, qualifying points and qualifying segments, Azul credit and vouchers is canceled, no further transaction can be made on the account, and no compensation is due, while award tickets already issued and not yet flown remain valid. [4]
  • Suspension. Azul may suspend an account temporarily or permanently for breaches of the regulations, and a suspended account cannot transact; the listed grounds include trading points with third parties outside the rules, fraud in earning or redeeming, conduct contrary to the program or partner regulations, sharing login credentials or two-step validation codes, redeeming tickets for people outside the approved beneficiary list, and paying fees with a credit card held by someone other than the participant or a beneficiary. [4]
  • Credentials stay personal. The account password and the two-step authentication codes are personal, non-transferable and exclusive. [4]
  • Who owns the points and the account. Azul Fidelidade points and Azul accounts belong to Azul, which may suspend use of an account without prior notice where there is a well-founded suspicion of fraud. [4]
  • Rule changes. Azul may change the program or its regulations and gives prior notice where a change restricts participants' rights. [4]
