JAL Mileage Bank
JAL Mileage Bank is Japan Airlines’ programme. JMB Miles are the redeemable balance; FLY ON Points and flight counts serve a different status task. This profile separates the balance you can spend from the measures used for elite status.

Start here
- Before a flight, check the marketing carrier, operating carrier, fare and booking class.
- Keep the redeemable balance separate from the status measure listed below.
- Before booking, check award availability, fees and change conditions in the programme’s current search.
How flights earn
A flight earns the applicable percentage of its official IATA Ticketed Point Mileage. Domestic, international and special-fare tables differ.
Miles or points to spend
JMB Miles are the redeemable balance.
Elite status qualification
FLY ON Points and eligible flight counts support elite status. The JGC lifetime-style programme is a separate path.
Expiry
Miles normally expire at the end of the month 36 months after they were earned. Diamond members and some JGC tiers have exceptions.
