Miles&Smiles

Miles&Smiles is Turkish Airlines’ programme. The Miles balance is spendable, while Status Miles qualify for elite tiers; codeshares should be checked by the operating carrier. This profile separates the balance you can spend from the measures used for elite status.

How flights earn

Eligible flights use the operating carrier and booking-class table, with distance based on IATA Ticketed Point Mileage. Codeshares need to be checked against the operating-carrier rule.

Miles or points to spend

Miles are the redeemable balance. Status Miles are a separate qualification measure.

Elite status qualification

Status Miles determine elite qualification and are not the same as the spendable Miles balance.

Expiry

Miles normally expire at the end of the third full calendar year after posting, at 23:59 Türkiye time. Paid extensions have separate terms; ordinary account activity does not automatically reset every balance.
