How flights earn

TAP flights earn according to eligible flown distance and the applicable fare-class table. Partner and codeshare flights use separate terms; reward tickets are excluded from ordinary earning.

Elite status qualification

Status Miles support elite qualification on eligible TAP and Star Alliance flights. Some products and promotions have different conditions.

Expiry

Miles generally expire three years after activity. Some compensation or promotional Bonus Miles have a one-year term; the account display and offer terms govern the specific batch.
