An applicant under 18 must have the enrollment form completed by a legal parent or legal guardian. [2] Only members who can enter into legally binding contracts under applicable law may redeem Etihad Guest Miles. [2]

How do you enroll in Etihad Guest?
- Complete and submit the enrollment form with all mandatory details; submitting it indicates that you accept the Etihad Guest terms. [2]
- Provide a unique email address that no existing member already uses; for a child under 13, an email address is required. [2]
- Choose a secure password when applying; for a manual enrollment such as a paper form, Etihad sends an email with a link to set the password. [2]

What charges do the Etihad Guest terms set out?
The Etihad Guest terms set out the following charges for specified replacement services, subject to the exceptions shown. [2]
| Service | Miles charged | Exceptions |
|---|---|---|
| Replacement Etihad Guest card | 500 Etihad Guest Miles [2] | Gold members can receive one free replacement in a 12-month period; Platinum and Emerald members pay no charge at any time. [2] |

What account terms apply after you join?
The Etihad Guest Card is not a credit card and is used for identification only; it remains Etihad Guest property and must be returned when requested. [2] Members must protect the card, Etihad Guest number, login credentials, devices and active sessions from unauthorized access, and must not disclose the password to anyone. [2]
Etihad says it is not liable for unauthorized third-party access, including unauthorized award transactions, except as applicable law provides, and it may review a request to re-credit an unauthorized mileage withdrawal made within three months. [2]
You may cancel Etihad Guest membership in writing at any time; once Etihad receives the notice, all Etihad Guest Miles and Tier Miles in the account expire immediately, subject to the Family Membership provisions. [2] Etihad may terminate membership after 36 continuous months of account inactivity. [2] You must provide a valid, current mailing address and email address and notify Etihad of changes through the Etihad Guest Service Centre or website. [2]
Exceptions and limits
- Applicants under 18 need a parent or legal guardian to complete the form, and under-18 Flight Reward redemptions need that parent or guardian's consent. [2]
- Eligibility is subject to local laws. [2]
- An application may be rejected at Etihad's sole discretion, and miles that might have accrued on a rejected application are void. [2]
- Membership is individual and non-transferable, so a company, trust or partnership cannot hold an account. [2]
- If more than one Etihad Guest number is assigned by error or oversight, Etihad combines the accounts, removes duplicated bonuses, benefits, miles and Tier Miles from the same activity, and terminates the other accounts. [2]
