Airline programme guide · official-source facts
Etihad Guest
Etihad Guest uses Etihad Guest Miles for rewards and Tier Miles for status. The verified source set covers the 18-month inactivity rule and tier-member exception, but not every earning or redemption rate. This profile separates the balance you can spend from the measures used for elite status.

- Before a flight, check the marketing carrier, operating carrier, fare and booking class.
- Keep the redeemable balance separate from the status measure listed below.
- Before booking, check award availability, fees and change conditions in the programme’s current search.
Miles or points to spend
Etihad Guest Miles are used for rewards. Tier Miles are a separate measure for status.
Expiry
Regular Etihad Guest Miles are valid for 18 months and may be extended by qualifying activity. Platinum and Emerald members retain miles while they hold the qualifying tier; after a downgrade, the ordinary validity period applies.
What this profile does not establish
The checked source set does not establish these details: How flights earn, Elite status qualification. Use the current official programme terms for that rule; do not infer it from another airline.
