Airline programme guide · official-source facts
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
Flying Club uses Virgin Points for rewards and Tier Points for status. Earning rates depend on fare class and flight, and status credit is not a simple multiplier of the redeemable balance. This profile separates the balance you can spend from the measures used for elite status.

Start here
- Before a flight, check the marketing carrier, operating carrier, fare and booking class.
- Keep the redeemable balance separate from the status measure listed below.
- Before booking, check award availability, fees and change conditions in the programme’s current search.
Miles or points to spend
Virgin Points are the redeemable currency. Tier Points are a separate status measure.
Elite status qualification
Tier Points are awarded by flight segment and booking class under the current table; they are not calculated by multiplying reward points.
Expiry
Virgin Points have no fixed inactivity expiry while the account remains valid and follows the programme terms. Tier Points and elite status have their own qualification periods.
What this profile does not establish
The checked source set does not establish these details: How flights earn. Use the current official programme terms for that rule; do not infer it from another airline.
