Singapore Card Points Programmes Compared

Singapore card points programmes are the reward currencies earned on consumer credit cards issued in Singapore, such as UOB UNI$, HSBC Reward points and Standard Chartered Rewards Points, each redeemed through the programme run by the issuing bank. [2] [4] [5]

Facts checked: 18 October 2026

Key takeaways

  • Of the currencies in this comparison, only UOB's Singapore cards page publishes an earning ladder that states its own unit and a miles figure together for the same card and spend category. [2]
  • HSBC and Standard Chartered both describe earnings as "Reward points", but neither page checked states the rate at which those points become miles or, for Standard Chartered, become 360° Rewards. [4] [5]

What the five card pages document

DBS. The DBS cards page lists featured cards including the DBS yuu Card, DBS Chromo Card, DBS Altitude Card and DBS Vantage Card, alongside a debit card, the DBS TravelLah! Debit Card, and carries sections headed Card Rewards & Services, Cards Terms & Conditions and Cards FAQs. [1] It states no earning rate, no conversion rate and no partner list for DBS Points. [1]

OCBC. The OCBC cards page lists the OCBC INFINITY Cashback Card, OCBC 365 Credit Card, OCBC Rewards Card and OCBC 90°N Card. [3] Its one published points figure is a welcome gift: new OCBC Credit Cardmembers can choose 22,000 Miles, 10X cashback or S$300 cashback when they make an eligible spend, an offer valid till 31 December 2026, with card fees, charges and terms applying. [3] The page links an OCBC Cards Rewards Transaction Exclusion List, but publishes no earning rate or conversion for OCBC Rewards or OCBC 90°N Miles. [3]

The one published UNI$ ladder

UOB's cards page is the only one of the five that quotes UNI$ and miles side by side. [2] For the UOB PRVI Miles Card it lists, per S$1 of spend: 3 miles, shown as UNI$7.5 per S$5, on regional spend in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam; 2.4 miles, shown as UNI$6 per S$5, on other overseas spend; 1.4 miles, shown as UNI$3.5 per S$5, on local spend; and up to 8 miles, shown as UNI$20 per S$5, on Agoda and Expedia bookings made through the UOB PRVI Miles website. [2] The pairings move together: S$5 of local spend at UNI$3.5 is presented as 1.4 miles, and S$5 of regional spend at UNI$7.5 as 3 miles, so the page presents UNI$1 as 2 miles. [2]

UOB's Lady's Credit Card shows how far one card's rate moves with category: up to 25X UNI$ per S$5 of spend, given as 10 miles per S$1, on a preferred rewards category with no minimum spend; 10X UNI$ per S$5, or 4 miles per S$1, with no minimum spend; an additional 15X UNI$ per S$5, or 6 miles per S$1, when the cardholder saves with a UOB Lady's Savings Account; and UNI$1 per S$5, or 0.4 miles per S$1, on other purchases. [2] Which transactions count at which rate is a matter for each card's own terms, so treat the categories above as card-specific rather than as an eligibility rule for the programme as a whole; see eligible card spend for why that distinction matters. [2]

The same page lists a PRVI Miles Amex version with 20,000 loyalty miles a year and 5,000 overseas-spend bonus miles each calendar quarter, subject to qualifying criteria, and says PRVI Miles cardholders can choose to redeem for miles, cash rebate or vouchers. [2] UOB also keeps a UOB$ Programme as a separate card privilege alongside UNI$ earning. [2]

Reward points quoted in two units

HSBC. The HSBC Singapore page lists the Premier Mastercard, Revolution, Live+, TravelOne, Advance, Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum among its credit cards, and states that the website is designed for use in Singapore. [4] It quotes welcome gifts in both units: up to 48,500 KrisFlyer miles, given as 145,500 Reward points, plus a SGD200 reward voucher on the Premier Mastercard, and up to 20,000 miles in the form of 50,000 Reward points on TravelOne. [4] Those two pairings do not share a ratio, so a welcome offer is not a published redemption rate. [4] HSBC also describes Revolution as offering up to 20× accelerated rewards and up to 112,000 Reward points for customers who take both a Revolution card and an HSBC Everyday Global Account, and describes TravelOne as offering instant reward redemption with a selection of airline and hotel partners without naming them. [4]

Standard Chartered. The Standard Chartered Singapore page lists 360° Rewards Redemption among its credit card features and describes cards that earn Rewards Points: the Platinum Visa/Mastercard earns 1 Rewards Point for every $1 charged, while the Rewards+ Credit Card earns up to 10x Rewards Points for every $1 charged. [5] Its Prudential Platinum and Prudential Visa Signature cards are presented as letting cardholders pay insurance premiums with the Rewards Points they earn, and the Journey Credit Card is described as earning up to 3 miles per S$1 alongside up to 5.85% p.a. interest, without naming the miles currency on that page. [5] The page states no rate at which Rewards Points turn into miles or into 360° Rewards. [5]

Exceptions, limits and gaps

  • Card types. Debit products include the DBS TravelLah! Debit Card and UOB's debit range with the KrisFlyer UOB Debit Card, while the Standard Chartered Business Platinum Card is a commercial card earning Rewards Point. [1] [2] [5]
  • Market. Each issuer runs several country sites: DBS in Singapore, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, India, Indonesia, Chinese mainland and Taiwan Region of China; OCBC in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and China; and HSBC's site is designed for use in Singapore. [1] [3] [4]
  • Conditions. UOB's rates and the PRVI Miles Amex annual and quarterly bonuses are subject to qualifying criteria. [2] The OCBC welcome gift is limited to new OCBC Credit Cardmembers, requires an eligible spend and runs only until 31 December 2026. [3] HSBC's welcome amounts are stated as "up to" figures. [4]
  • No page checked states an expiry rule for these currencies, and none names specific transfer partners, so this page settles neither question; the Singapore card points transfer partners page covers that ground separately. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
